I admire so many truly great performers but these three are my living favourites. Amazingly, they are all in their 70's but between them have sold millions of records since the 60's.
Albert Hammond - Songbook - a great interview and performance. You will be amazed at all the hit songs he has written. What a catalogue! What a star! What a nice guy!
Sir Ray Davies - at Glastonbury dedicating Days to former Kinks bassist, Pete Quaife, who had died the day before. Ray is the quintessential English lyricist.
Neil Diamond - I was at this concert at the Roundhouse. An absolute master at his craft with Ron Tutt on drums and a great audience participation song. Sadly Neil has retired now but his music will live forever.
Albert is a genuine nice guy. Here we are at his 2014 concert in Wimborne.
